Your Canadian 5 Pin Bowlers' Association membership card is your card for life. Last season new plastic permanent cards were issued to all members. If you received one of these cards, please hold on to it. The card and membership number associated with it is yours for life. Each fall when you renew your membership it will be applied to your existing number.

We are looking for the Best of the Best
Do you know a coach that you would like to see recognized for their efforts? We are looking for nominations in the area of “Grass Roots Coach of the Year”. This would be a coach you feel really contributes to the sport in either the youth or adult fields. If you have someone in mind, to find out about the nomination process, go to Saskbowl.com (Sask 5-pin link). Nominations must be in by the middle of November.
Where does sponsorship come from?
Not many people know that Great Western Beer is a sponsor of the sport of 5-pin bowling. In turn we have been asked to show our support of their products. This is done in the simplest of ways; when you purchase any Great Western products, bring your receipt or a copy of it to your lane rep, and they will pass it on to the necessary people. The sport of bowling receives a percentage of those receipts to be dispersed between the different organizations.
Judge of Play Clinics
Have you ever thought of being a Judge of Play for a tournament, but didn’t know how to get started? The first step is to contact Dave Shepherd at 306-535-8905 and he will set up a training clinic, at a minimal charge, for those interested. Secondly, once you are trained, let Gerald Dessert 306-540-2135 or your proprietors know when you are available for upcoming events. We look forward to seeing you out there.
